The rally of the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is like a star fair
The rally, held on Thursday (September 19), was led by American television personality and popular host Oprah Winfrey. With the presence of many renowned Hollywood stars, the event became filled with celebrities.
On this virtual platform, world-famous stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Meryl Streep, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, and Julia Roberts stood alongside Kamala Harris.
They collectively praised Kamala and expressed their support for her campaign. Analysts believe that with just a month and a half left until the election, the participation of these stars in the rally could have a significant impact.
Titled "Unite for America," this rally took place in Detroit, Michigan, where Kamala Harris and Oprah Winfrey participated live, while Hollywood stars joined virtually.
Meryl Streep humorously addressed Kamala as 'President Harris' during the event. This comment sparked a wave of laughter, and Kamala Harris responded, "There are still 47 days left!" This humorous moment lightened the atmosphere of the gathering.
Oprah Winfrey asked Kamala why she suddenly feels so confident that she has emerged as the main candidate for the Democrats instead of Joe Biden. In response, Kamala said, "There come moments in life when we have to step up."
During the hour-and-a-half gathering, Kamala Harris spoke on various important issues—abortion, the economy, immigration, gun control, and many others. She also listened to the audience's experiences and answered their various questions. She accused her rival Donald Trump of creating division and called on the public to unite.
Meanwhile, Chris Rock, who attended the event, said, "I want to take my daughter to the White House to meet a Black woman president. I believe Kamala Harris will lead the change we want." It is believed that the support from these celebrities is adding extra strength to Kamala Harris's campaign.
According to the information provided by Kamala's campaign, nearly two hundred thousand people registered for this virtual rally, and one hundred thousand people watched it live on YouTube. Additionally, many others enjoyed it on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
It is noteworthy that in public opinion polls, Trump and Kamala are neck and neck. Given the current standings of both candidates, making any predictions about the outcome of the upcoming November election has become more challenging than before.
